If you'd like to participate in the novel edit project, but do not have javascript enabled, you can use the links on the right of this page to reach the relavent pages. You may participate as a reader or editor or both.

As a reader, you would read an edited chapter, then vote for it if you thought it an interesting read. Or you would vote against it if you didn't enjoy it or if you didn't think it was worth the read. Voters may or may not register. It would be their choice. A registered voter's vote would count as 8 votes. A non-registered voter's vote is one vote. All voters, whether registered or not, would be given a cookie which would keep track of their votes. Should a voter try to tamper with this cookie, his vote would be disqualified.

As an editor, you would edit a chapter of the novel at a time. Like a voter, an editor may or may not register. However registered editors, as their choice, may or may not accept the edits of unregistered editors. Registered editors, by virtue of their registration, would also have access to pages that allow them to communicate with one another via a communications page. This would enable them to work together and to plan their edit.
